Introducing Women to the Outdoors Since 1995
Becoming an Outdoors-Woman began as a course at the University of Wisconsin that analyzed the reasons more women don’t participate in outdoors activities, such as hunting and fishing. Research indicated that women preferred to learn these skills in a non-competitive atmosphere along with other women.
